Hi

My name is Bruce Adams a photographer residing in Brisbane, with a passion for capturing the amazing animals that are so much part of our everyday lives. Let me share with you a little about myself and my thoughts on photographing the animals that bring so much joy to us as members of our families.

As a youngster I was the kid on the block that had a yard and bedroom filled with all things that creep and crawl. Mum was not always impressed. The bush was my playground. Needless to say, I went on to further explore the wonders of nature going on to complete a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at university, where over the years I continued to develop a keen interest in wildlife photography. Life’s journey ultimately led to me completing a Diploma in Photography and Photo imaging at TAFE with a personal focus on Pet photography.

So why Pet Photography? With pets being so much part of our families today and my passion for wildlife, pet photography has allowed me to combine the two passions I have in life. As a fellow pet owner, it goes without saying that there is a special bond between us and our best friends that brings joy and puts a smile on our dials. In a nutshell as your photographer, I get most satisfaction when capturing those awesome memorable moments between you and your best friend.

I believe the best way to capture the personality of your pet is to ensure that they are enjoying the experience themselves while interacting with you and their environment. My goal is to create the magic through a variety of candid shots, posing, action and natural interactions between the two of you.
